Teatre Romea

Teatre Romea has spent more than a century and a half demonstrating that a stage can be much more than a place where stories are performed. Since opening in 1863, this historic Raval theatre has gone through different eras without losing an essential characteristic: the determination to engage with its time, even when that means making people uncomfortable, provoking or questioning certainties.
