Candlelight: Halloween Classics
This autumn, mystery and music come together in a unique evening: Candlelight: Halloween Classics, a show where the most chilling and memorable melodies come to life under the soft light of hundreds of candles at the Paraninfo of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
About this event
The Paraninfo of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid is preparing for a night in which Halloween music will leave the screen to occupy a historic stage. A string quartet will perform a selection bringing together horror classics, soundtracks and pieces from the classical repertoire associated with the supernatural.

The programme will range from Michael Jackson’s «Thriller» and themes from «Stranger Things», «Beetlejuice» and «The Addams Family» to «Psycho», «The Exorcist» and «Ghostbusters». The selection also includes Camille Saint-Saëns’s «Danse macabre» and Modest Mussorgsky’s «Night on Bald Mountain», alongside excerpts from «The Nightmare Before Christmas» and «The Rocky Horror Picture Show».
