Reial Acadèmia de Ciències i Arts de Barcelona (RACAB) has been part of the city’s scientific history for more than two and a half centuries. Founded in 1764, it is one of Spain’s oldest institutions dedicated to research and scientific outreach, and has accompanied the evolution of knowledge from the Enlightenment to the present day.
