2nd edition of Orgull de Ciutat Vella
Diversity once again takes to the streets with the second edition of Orgull de Ciutat Vella, a celebration that forms part of the Orgull Barcelona 2026 programme and was created with the aim of highlighting the district’s human, cultural and social richness.
About this event
The day will bring together festive activities, cultural proposals and meeting spaces open to all residents, turning Barcelona’s historic heart into a place of visibility, participation and coexistence. The event asserts the importance of building an inclusive city while giving prominence to local talent and initiatives that advance the LGTBIQ+ community from within the area itself.
Beyond the celebration, Orgull de Ciutat Vella seeks to create spaces where diversity can be expressed naturally and with pride. Music, culture, art and civic participation will come together in a programme designed to bring realities closer, encourage dialogue and strengthen community ties.
This second edition consolidates a pioneering initiative committed to bringing the spirit of Pride to neighbourhoods, focusing on the stories, projects and people that help make Ciutat Vella a plural and open space. A day to celebrate the freedom to be, share and coexist in a city that finds one of its greatest strengths in its diversity.
