Summer cinema for the whole family at CCCB

Throughout the summer, every Wednesday and Saturday, the space will screen animation and experimental film pieces designed to be shared as a family and to view the urban world from unexpected perspectives.

The programme is divided into three thematic blocks that mix animation classics, contemporary short films and unusual visual proposals. From the adventures of a mole lost in the city to films made with moving toys or urban portraits close to documentary, each session explores how filmmakers and artists have imagined streets, buildings and everyday life.

The series brings together very different names and styles, combining historic works with experimental pieces capable of sparking the curiosity of both children and adults. Stop motion, cartoons, visual collages and small urban stories coexist in a programme where creativity matters more than duration or format.

More than a film screening, the proposal works as an invitation to observe the city differently: with surprise, playfulness and a desire to discover what usually goes unnoticed.
