LIBER International Book Fair
From 29 September to 1 October, Fira de Barcelona will host a new edition of LIBER, the major international book fair in Spanish and one of the leading meeting points for the publishing industry. For three days, the Gran Via venue will bring together around 250 exhibitors from more than fifteen countries and thousands of professionals with a shared goal: to promote new business and strengthen the sector’s international reach.

More than a trade fair, LIBER serves as a space where alliances are forged, trends are discovered and opportunities open up for publishers, literary agents, distributors and specialist companies. Its main new features include the Rights Hall, an area dedicated to the buying and selling of publishing and literary rights, as well as the Ágora, a space for presentations, debates and new business models.
The professional programme will include nearly seventy conferences and round tables focused on innovation, training, audiobooks, internationalisation and the challenges facing the publishing world. In addition, Micro Liber will once again offer visibility to small publishers and emerging projects interested in accessing international markets.
Established as an essential event for books in Spanish, LIBER turns Barcelona into the great international showcase for publishing, a place where culture and industry meet to imagine the future of the sector.
