The guided tour Verdaguer y Gaudí, poesía y arquitectura a los pies de Collserola shows that, sometimes, both happen at the same time. This tour invites you to discover how two fundamental creators of Catalan culture found an unexpected meeting point between verses, forms and landscapes.
About this event
Temporarily, the activity takes place exclusively at Torre Bellesguard, owing to restrictions affecting routes through Collserola Park. This building, designed by Antoni Gaudí, provides the setting for exploring the relationship the architect had with Jacint Verdaguer, whose work and sensibility left their mark on this setting.
More than a visit focused on two illustrious names, the proposal reveals how architecture can converse with poetry and how the same landscape was able to inspire different disciplines. Every corner of Bellesguard helps to understand the cultural context of an era in which art, nature and thought went hand in hand.
The activity takes place on the last Friday of every month, lasts 90 minutes and is conducted in Catalan. An opportunity to discover a lesser-known facet of Gaudí and Verdaguer through a space steeped in history.
