Open day at Espai Bombers
The Jornada de Puertas Abiertas del Espai Bombers – Parc de la Prevenció de Barcelona offers a unique opportunity to discover up close the work of one of the city’s essential services. During this special occasion, the space opens its facilities to the public to show how emergency teams work day to day and bring their work closer to people of all ages.
About this event
The event combines outreach, learning and participation through different activities related to prevention, safety and response to risk situations. Visitors can explore different areas of the centre, learn about equipment used in real interventions and discover little-known aspects of a profession closely linked to the protection of citizens.
Coordinated by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, the day also seeks to strengthen the link between public services and the community, promoting a greater understanding of the importance of prevention and coordinated action in emergency situations.
Beyond a conventional visit, the experience offers a practical and accessible way to learn about the history, values and commitment of the Bomberos de Barcelona.
