“L’Estiu del Petit Cinèfil” film series

Each session begins with an introduction by CaixaForum’s educational team, who offer some keys to enjoying the film more fully and propose questions that invite the conversation to continue after the screening. The aim is not only to watch cinema, but to learn to observe it and discover everything it can tell.

The 2026 programme includes offerings for different ages. From the colourful short films of Pequeñas historias orquestadas to the fantasy adventure of ARCO, via the delicate view of 1960s Japan in La colina de las amapolas. There will also be room for the adventures of Billy, the Hámster Cowboy, treasure hunting and a love of reading in El Tesoro de Barracuda, and the imagination-filled stories of El verano y el otoño en el reino de Escampeta.

More than a series of screenings, “L’Estiu del Petit Cinèfil” offers a shared experience in which cinema becomes a tool for exploring emotions, discovering other realities and enjoying time with the family.
