BAM Festival

This year’s edition, directed by Marta Mei and Aina Pociello, presents a line-up in which international names and local talent coexist, many of them making their Barcelona debut. Stages across Plaça de Catalunya, Moll de la Fusta, Rambla del Raval, Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm and Fabra i Coats will host concerts ranging from R&B to punk, from Tuareg blues to experimental electronics, as well as reggae, jazz, folk and alternative pop.

In addition to offering more than a hundred performances, BAM maintains its commitment to giving visibility to independent projects and voices addressing social, cultural and political issues through music. The festival also celebrates ten years of BAM Acció Cultura Viva, a participatively managed space that continues to foster collective creation and the emerging scene.

More than a concert festival, BAM is an invitation to leave your comfort zone and discover artists who will probably shape the future of music.
