ZEYNE concert
ZEYNE’s R&B; arrives in Barcelona with an identity built between contemporary sounds and Palestinian roots. The Palestinian-Jordanian artist will perform on 16 September 2026 at Sala Apolo, where she will present AWDA, her first album.
About this event
Her music starts from R&B;, but avoids staying within its limits. Her songs include references to the Arab sound tradition and a perspective shaped by the experience and suffering of the Palestinian people. The result is a personal offering in which identity, memory and the present coexist with contemporary production. A combination that may connect particularly with followers of artists such as Sudan Archives or Empress Of.
The concert forms part of Primavera Tours, the programme through which Primavera Sound brings its musical selection to venues throughout the year.
The doors of Apolo will open at 19:30 and the performance will begin at 21:00. Those under 16 may enter accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian.
The event will be an opportunity to hear AWDA live and get to know first-hand an artist who is bringing her own voice from the Middle East to international stages.
