Concert «The music of Stranger Things: Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein»
The sound universe of Stranger Things leaves the screen to take over the stage at Paral·lel 62. On 5 September, Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, composers of the Netflix series’ soundtrack, will perform live the music that helped define its distinctive atmosphere.
About this event
Synthesizers, electronic pulses and unsettling melodies will bring back that sound inspired by 1980s science fiction and horror which became one of the series’ hallmarks.
The concert will go beyond musical performance. Dixon and Stein are collaborating with visual artist Marcel Weber (MFO) on a staging in which light and fog play an active part in the show. Flashes, shadows and visual movements will transform the space as the music unfolds, at times blurring the boundary between a concert hall and a cinematic sequence.
The Music of Stranger Things invites audiences to listen to the well-known soundtrack from within, directly in the hands of its creators.
