Dogstar concert

Formed in California in the early 1990s, the trio resumed activity after years of silence and has found an unexpected place in the present. At the helm is Keanu Reeves, bassist and a discreet part of the machinery, who shows here a side far removed from cinema, without artifice and with a purely musical approach. It is not a project conceived for the Hollywood myth, but for those who enjoy alternative rock in its live form: solid guitars, clear melodies, simple structures and a desire to tell stories.

The concert is recommended for those who grew up with Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam or Stone Temple Pilots, but also for new listeners looking for clean rock, without contrived nostalgia. Dogstar does not appear as a contrived revival, but as a band returning because it has new songs and an energy that deserves a stage.

The event comes under the umbrella of Primavera Tours, the Primavera Sound programming line that extends the festival throughout the year and into human-scale venues, where the audience listens just a few metres from the stage. An opportunity to see Dogstar up close, without a stadium in between, and experience live how its sound retains what made it recognisable without becoming a museum.
