Collective naps at El Refugio

Madrid invites you to take a group nap with an immersive sound experience.

About this event

Rest can also become a cultural plan. On 23 July, the El Refugio venue will host a new session of Collective Naps, a proposal that invites you to switch off for a few hours and experience listening as a different way of inhabiting time.

On this occasion, the session will be led by Brazilian multidisciplinary artist Yuri Tuma, co-founder of the Institute for Postnatural Studies. Through a composition inspired by soundscapes, nature and active listening, he will propose a journey designed to accompany rest and foster a collective experience of calm.

Far from the usual format of a concert or installation, the activity places the nap at the centre of the experience and proposes slowing the daily pace to listen, relax and share a moment of pause in the heart of Madrid.
