“Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026” competition

Madrid will be the first stop of the Spanish leg of Red Bull Dance Your Style 2026. The qualifying round will take place in Plaza Juan Goytisolo, where dancers from across the country will gather to compete for a place in the national final.

The format is based on one-on-one street battles. Participants take to the floor without prepared routines and react to the music in the moment. Different styles of urban dance are used, from hip hop and afrodance to popping, locking, house and voguing. The audience determines the winner of each face-off; it is the audience itself that decides the outcome of the battles.

The programme will begin with an open jam session, in which dancers freely gather in circles and show off without limits. Next, the jury will select fourteen participants for the battles. Then a series of one-on-one battles begins, in which the decision rests entirely with the audience. The four best dancers from the Madrid stage will qualify for the Spain final.

The evening’s music will be provided by DJ Funkestein and guest artist Tito Africa.
