«Plaza Selección» Fan Zone

During the World Cup, Madrid's Plaza de Colón will be transformed into a large fan zone for supporters of the Spanish national team, where they can watch the matches live and gather to follow the national side's fixtures.

The Plaza Selección project is organised by the Real Federación Española de Fútbol. Large screens will be installed for the broadcasts, and the format itself will turn the city centre into a space for collective viewing and reactions to the national team's matches.

The square will also have an official shop, a small exhibition of trophies, rest areas, live music and food stalls, which will be open throughout match days.
