A horror escape room is opening in Madrid, in which players are immersed in an urban legend that has long ceased to be spoken of aloud. “The Curse of the Balaguers” transports participants to a house around which strange stories have accumulated for decades.
The plot begins with events from the past: a mysterious epidemic broke out in the region, after which the Balaguer family shut themselves in their house with their daughter and disappeared completely from the life of the village. Over time, rumours began to circulate about disappearances and inexplicable phenomena around their home, and the house became a place that nobody dares to enter.
In the form of an immersive adventure, participants enter this story and gradually confront its details. The space, characters and events unfold around the players, creating the feeling of a constant presence in someone else’s past.
