14th Carrera Bomberos de Madrid

The famous Carrera de Bomberos de Madrid Décimas returns to Madrid on Sunday 12 April. An exciting route through the heart of the city awaits participants: the start will be at Puerta del Sol and the finish on Paseo de Recoletos, between the squares of Colón and Cibeles.

The competition will offer two formats: a public race open to anyone interested and a special category for firefighters in full equipment, with teams made up of a maximum of four people. The route will take participants along the legendary streets of Preciados, Gran Vía and Alcalá, through the squares of Cibeles and Colón, and around the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. The maximum time to complete the course is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Around 4,000 running enthusiasts and 100 firefighters are expected to take part, with the firefighters taking to the course in all their firefighting equipment, including a shield and air cylinder, turning the race into a true spectacle of strength and endurance.
