The Estadio Metropolitano will change its skin from 5 to 7 September 2025 to become a huge vertical stage. The Spanish Climbing Championship will be held there, bringing together the country’s top specialists in an event that promises to be as technical as it is spectacular.
About this event
The competition will feature two very different disciplines: Speed, in which climbers stake everything against the clock on a vertiginous wall, and Boulder, focused on solving short but intense problems of maximum difficulty. For the occasion, a facility identical to those used in world championships has been built, placing Madrid as a benchmark for this emerging sport.
The public will be able to enjoy not only the qualifying rounds, but also the absolute finals, held on Saturday the 6th at night in a highly spectacular atmosphere with music, lights and entertainment. In addition, the programme will include open events and activities designed to bring climbing closer to all attendees.
With this event, the capital reinforces its role as a host of major sporting events and offers a unique experience to both athletes and fans, who will experience three days in which adrenaline and verticality will take centre stage.
