Experience «BattleKart»

From 5 June, Palacio de Hielo will host BattleKart, a space combining karting, video games and digital projections. Instead of a conventional track, there are luminous routes on the floor, virtual obstacles and races that resemble a life-sized games room.

During the race, bonuses, traps and missions appear on the track, while the system records every movement of the kart in real time. Participants not only overtake their rivals, but can also launch virtual attacks, build up boosts and change the course of the game while playing.

BattleKart has several modes. In one, you have to compete for the lead and the highest number of laps; in another, the track becomes a huge luminous field where teams conquer coloured zones to the rhythm of music and amid flashes of projections.

Everything takes place in electric karts, with no need for helmets or special equipment. The space is designed for both groups of friends and family outings, and the races resemble a game inside a futuristic video game more than conventional karting.
