Solemn changing of the guard

In front of the Royal Palace, hundreds of guards and one hundred horses gather, recreating the grandeur of the era of Kings Alfonso XII and Alfonso XIII. Music, drums and fifes accompany every step of the parade, and guides dressed in period costumes turn the ceremony into a genuine journey through time.
