Hipódromo Oktoberfest

Hipódromo de la Zarzuela is preparing to experience one of the most beer-filled weekends of the year. On 4 and 5 October, a new edition of Madrid's Oktoberfest will take place, bringing the essence of the Bavarian celebration: beer in abundance, traditional German food and live music for toasting with cries of Prost! against the Madrid skyline.

The programme includes performances by Oktober Music Band, with more than two decades of experience performing classic German folk anthems such as Ein Prosit, as well as polkas, marches and choreographies that will enliven the venue throughout the day. There will also be food, with food trucks serving German sausages, freshly baked pretzels and other typical delicacies.

The atmosphere is completed with DJs and activities that will make Oktoberfest a perfect plan both for beer lovers and for those seeking a different cultural experience. Tickets are already on sale and the event is expected once again to bring together thousands of people in a setting as distinctive as Hipódromo de la Zarzuela. With music, flavour and tradition, Madrid's Oktoberfest promises two days of celebration in which Germany moves, for a few hours, to the heart of the capital.
