Family party at Madrid Río
On Saturday 31 May, the Puente del Rey esplanade at Madrid Río will become a free amusement park with giant inflatables, shows, workshops and activities for the whole family.
About this event
Madrid celebrates International Day of Families with a unique day at one of its most emblematic green spaces. From 11:00 to 20:00, the Madrid Río area will become a meeting point for an outdoor celebration designed especially for children and their companions. Admission is free and no prior registration is required.
The event, organised by Madrid City Council, will feature bouncy castles of every size, play areas, adventure circuits, face painting, storytellers, creative workshops and live entertainment. There will also be magic shows, children’s theatre and music to turn Saturday into an unforgettable experience.
In addition, the location makes it easy to take part: it is easily reached by metro, commuter train or bus, and the space is surrounded by pedestrian areas and rest areas for a leisurely day out. A perfect plan for celebrating as a family, in the green heart of the city.
