Medieval Market «El Señorío de Chinchón»

From 13 to 15 February, Chinchón will return to medieval times for a few days. During Carnival weekend, the historic centre of the town will become a large medieval market, where the streets and the Plaza Mayor will host street performances, craft stalls and live re-enactments.

This tradition has been celebrated since 2004 and has become one of the most outstanding winter events in the region's cultural calendar. During these days, residents and festival participants recreate the atmosphere of the 15th century, evoking the visit of the Reyes Católicos to Chinchón and turning the celebration into a living historical spectacle.
