St Patrick’s Day Parade 2026

In March, the city centre will turn green again and resound with Celtic melodies: on 14 March, a parade in honour of St Patrick’s Day will be held along Madrid’s main streets.

The procession will start at Edificio Metrópolis and follow Gran Vía to Plaza de España. Bagpipers, dance groups and orchestras will recreate the atmosphere of a true Irish festival, while green outfits and the festive atmosphere will fill every corner of the route with joy and a sense of community. Entry is free.

The parade will be the highlight of Ireland Week, which will take place from 10 to 17 March. During those days, the capital will host concerts, film screenings, literary gatherings and gastronomic events that will immerse audiences in Irish culture. A special attraction will be Gran Vía metro station, transformed into a “green street”, with street performances and daily Celtic music. The festival will conclude with a large open-air concert combining music, dance and fun in an unforgettable celebration.
