Spanish National Day Parade

On 12 October, Madrid will host a parade to celebrate Spanish National Day. This day will symbolise the country’s fleeting cultural and linguistic expansion beyond the continent.

As always, the event will begin with the arrival of the King and Queen with military honours. Members of the Armed Forces, the Civil Guard, the National Police and Maritime Rescue will take part in the parade. There will be a parachute landing and a solemn raising of the national flag. Beneath the raised flag, a remembrance for those who died for the Fatherland will take place.
