Mascletà in Madrid
A noisy Valencian celebration will come to Madrid for the first time! The city councils of Valencia and Madrid have declared 17 and 18 February a weekend in honour of the Mascletà.
About this event
The city councils of Valencia and Madrid invite you to take part in the festivities that will take place on the weekend before the Crida. Madrid residents will enjoy a mascletà like the one in Valencia. Madrid’s mayor was inspired by it two years ago and decided to hold one in Madrid. It will be an unprecedented experience for the Spanish capital.
The Mascletà of Madrid will be different from the one in Valencia. The authorities promise that it will be more international. But the festival will not lose its charm: plenty of noise and fireworks are expected. Wake up after winter hibernation!
The setting for the mascletà is Puenre del Rey. There, the technicians are given the appropriate and necessary safety conditions.
