“Tienda Hecho a mano México” craft market

Fundación Casa de México becomes a fair of genuine treasures until Sunday. Until 1 June, it hosts the fourth edition of “Tienda Hecho a mano México”, a unique craft market where more than 1,500 handmade products by artisans from across the Mexican region can be bought.

Clay, glass, tin, lacquer, wax... each technique reveals ancestral traditions through contemporary art. Here you will find ceramics, textiles, shoes, jewellery and decorative objects, all with a deep cultural code and aesthetic value.

The project's curator, Sara Galindo, stresses that the initiative's aim is to preserve folk art through fair trade.
