Madrid is a city of art. There are countless museums and galleries, and it is easy to find artists in the streets capturing the city's views on canvas. It is no surprise that the city has the Painters' Market. Every Sunday, this Parisian corner hosts an open-air exhibition in which more than forty artists present their paintings.
The market takes place in a significant spot connected with artistic traditions: Plaza Conde de Barajas. Here, every Sunday, artists from the Asociación Taller Abierto de Madrid turn this corner into a bohemian haven. And if you head to kilometre 0, you will find Esteban Zamorano's shop, where he experiments with colour and ink in his surrealist drawings.
