Madrid Miniatures Fair

This Saturday, Hotel Madrid Marriott Princesa Plaza will become a showcase for tiny worlds with the fifth Madrid Miniatures Fair. Craftspeople from Spain and other European countries will bring their creations, each a small work of art ready to surprise.

Visitors can lose themselves among tiny furniture, tableware, paintings and dolls, all handmade and at scales that allow the most minute details to be appreciated. There are modern, minimalist pieces, shabby-chic charm, touches of Art Nouveau and even nods to decades past, making every miniature tell its own story.

Those who enjoy DIY and creativity can take home kits to make their own miniatures, while the bravest can enter the Madrid scenes competition, submitting unique compositions up to 30 centimetres in size. The most ingenious entries will receive money that can be spent at the fair itself, making every purchase feel part of the event’s magic.
