The Antiquarian and Second-hand Book Fair

From 30 April to 17 May, publications in the most diverse formats will gather here, from affordable books to unusual collectible copies.

In this 48th edition, 37 second-hand bookshops from different cities in Spain will take part, including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Pamplona, Granada, Salamanca, Zaragoza, Huesca and Valencia. The fair is organised by the Asociación de Libreros de Lance de Madrid, which has held it since 1977.

The stalls contain more than half a million copies: second-hand books, first editions, manuscripts, incunabula, maps, engravings, magazines and collectible material. Prices range from a symbolic one euro to exceptional bibliographic finds.

The fairground extends from Cibeles to Calle Almirante, forming an uninterrupted route where books are found, literally, at every step. Here, reading becomes a walk and the search becomes part of the route.
