Colmenar de Oreja Wine Fair

At the end of May, Madrid will host a wine fair with tastings, samples of local products and musical performances. The square will be transformed into a wine cellar with the finest selection.

Throughout the fair, there will be tastings from the participating wineries: Jesús Figueroa, Jesús Díaz, Pedro García y Peral. In addition, Madrilenians will be able to sample artisan products: sheep’s cheeses, olive oils, anchovies, white anchovies and delicious traditional tapas such as pozas, ternera en gachas or patatas chulas, as well as typical sweets.

For the most curious, there will be wine and oil tasting masterclasses, as well as talks and exhibitions. All of this will be accompanied by performances by the traditional singing and dance group Los Zambomberos Coros y Danzas de Colmenar de Oreja.
