10th Puente de Vallecas Book Fair

This year, the Puente de Vallecas Book Fair celebrates its tenth edition and once again takes over Peña Gorbea Street, turning it into a space where books resonate aloud and bring readers and authors together around them. Texts in the most varied formats come together here: from poetry and essays to novels, plays and public readings.

In ten years, the fair has become a landmark in the cultural life of the neighbourhood, where reading is perceived as a collective process rather than an individual act. It is a meeting place where the texts matter just as much as those who write them and those who read them.

The commemorative edition is dedicated to Carmen Laforet and Mary Shelley. Their works serve as a pretext for talking about inner freedom, personal choice and how literature influences the way we see the world.
