Easter Crafts Fair

Until 12 April, Paseo de Recoletos hosts the Easter crafts fair. Craftspeople from Madrid and other regions of Spain gather here to show their works, the result of a long and meticulous process.

The stalls offer ceramics, glass, textiles, leather and jewellery. Each piece has its own character, visible in the details, the texture and the way it is made. They are objects created by hand, without haste and without repetition.

The craftspeople work alongside visitors, answer their questions and tell them about the materials and working techniques. Craftsmanship can be seen not in a display case, but as a living process.
