Immersive exhibition «We Are Nature»
At CaixaForum Madrid, a space will be created in which nature will cease to be an object of observation and become a genuine audiovisual journey.
About this event
From 3 June to 7 March, the immersive exhibition «We Are Nature», created by OASIS Immersive Studios in collaboration with National Geographic, can be visited here. The project proposes a journey lasting around 70 minutes, in which the viewer literally enters the planet’s living processes, from the microworld to large-scale ecosystems.
The immersion begins with the visual work of Catherine Ziegler and Johnny Reingard, in which National Geographic images show nature in a state of constant renewal and movement. The journey then moves on to Alex Le Guillou’s digital installation: here the image breaks down into flows of cells, roots and organic structures, creating the feeling of a living environment that is constantly reconfiguring itself.
The final part, created by Émile Roy, brings together what has been seen on a single visual canvas — a kind of “living mosaic” — where nature is presented as a system capable of recovering and transforming under the influence of human beings and collective actions.
