About this event
How does the process of consuming food take place? How does food reach our tables? Museo Reina Sofía hosts an exhibition that raises important questions and issues of consumption to remind us of the importance of social awareness. Food is part of us. The exhibition will emphasise this by showing food's deep roots, its emotional dimension and its ability to bring people together. The work of artist Martha Roesler also denounces the role socially assigned to women in the kitchen.
The exhibition presents a selection of visual and textual materials, such as photographs, books, poems, recipe books and other objects, exploring the relationship with food.
