Exhibition «Seventy great masters from the Pérez Simón Collection»

The Palacio de Cibeles will open an exhibition in which we will be able to see unique works by geniuses such as Rubens and Van Gogh that have never before been exhibited anywhere else. For four months, art lovers will have the opportunity to discover the private collection of Juan Antonio Pérez Simón, who has devoted part of his life to acquiring true treasures of world art.

The exhibition is divided into three periods. The first part will present paintings by the immortal artists Murillo, Canaletto, Rubens and Goya. In the second period, we will travel to the 19th century and see works by icons such as Van Gogh, Renoir and Sorolla. Finally, there will be painting and sculpture from the modern era, from the avant-garde to contemporary art, with works by Munch, Magritte, Katz, de Lempica, Rothko, Léger, Murakami and Nara.

The exhibition is incredibly important. Most of the works have never left Pérez Simón’s private collection, so they are unknown to the public.
