Until 13 June, the Museo Reina Sofía presents the documentary exhibition «Ritmos. Imágenes de trabajo femenino» at the Edificio Nouvelle, Biblioteca y Centro de Documentación. The curators Celina Blasco, Maite Garbajo and María Rosón explore how work shaped women's identity before, during and after the Guerra Civil.
The exhibition offers a view of women's power and contributions throughout history through carefully selected materials. Here, work becomes not only a way of existing, but also a key to individual and collective identity. Special attention is paid to the research process: unexpected findings, doubts and discoveries that shape new ways of understanding the past.
