Museo del Traje de Madrid has returned, spectacularly and in grand style.
On 13 May, Museo del Traje reopens its doors after a one-month hiatus due to the restoration of its façade. And it does so not simply for fun, but for an important event: Museum Night, which will take place on Saturday 17 May.
The spring season begins with a rich programme: dance masterclasses, night visits, special events and the brilliant temporary exhibition Raíces, which coincides with the centenary of the Exposición Regional de Trajes, as it was this exhibition that initiated the creation of the museum.
The permanent exhibition now features author interventions by masters of contemporary fashion: Lorenzo Caprile, Teresa Helbig and Ana Locking.
On the night of 17 to 18 May, Museo del Traje will take a journey through time. A special programme will transport visitors to the atmosphere of 1925: the permanent exhibition will be transformed into an interactive quest with clues that will reveal the museum’s history, exciting, unexpected and for the whole family.
