Exhibition «Éramos felices y no lo sabíamos»

Fundación Casa de México inaugurates in Spain an unprecedented exhibition from the Jumex Collection, considered a benchmark in Latin American contemporary art. The exhibition, available until 8 June, brings together 65 works by 28 artists, in a variety of formats such as videos, installations, photographs and sculptures. The exhibition transports audiences to the Mexican art scene of the 1990s and 2000s, a period in which emerging creativity redefined urban spaces, turning them into settings for visual experimentation. The exhibition’s themes are the city, space, social context, identity and materiality. Through these works, an artistic journey captures two decades of visual and conceptual exploration, offering an immersive experience connecting past and present.
