Exhibition “Stone, paper, amulet”

The exhibition “Stone, paper, amulet” is presented in Madrid, where the artist and illustrator turns paper into a territory of memories, forms and sensations.

The exhibition features five series by the artist: Memory, Rome, Megastructures, Banquet and Amulet. Each reveals a different facet of Bustelo’s creativity: from personal stories and images of memory to explorations of colour, rhythm and repetitive lines.

The artist’s works combine drawings, reliefs, original editions and objects made using different techniques. In them, paper ceases to be a simple support and becomes an independent character, fragile yet expressive.

This exhibition is an invitation to enter the creative process, where gesture, word and texture merge into a single narrative about the search for meaning in everyday details.
