What happens when Stone Age art and the technologies of the future are combined? The exhibition Presente Perpetuo will be the place where the ancient images of Altamira come to new life, with the help of AI, 3D printing and robotic painting.

From 12 June to 14 September, the Museo Arqueológico Nacional will host the exhibition Presente perpetuo, a unique experience that connects prehistory with today's digital world. Through tools such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing and painting carried out by robots, the artists revive the rock art of Altamira, offering a contemporary vision of those millennia-old representations. This exhibition invites reflection on two major questions: how we interpret the artistic expressions of the past today and what they reveal about our connection with nature, especially that which no longer exists.
