Museo Nacional de Antropología celebrates its 150th anniversary with an exhibition by the American artist Ayana V. Jackson, presented in Europe for the first time. The exhibition is on from 29 April to 31 August as part of PHotoESPAÑA 2025 and the Críticas de Visión programme.
Curated by Marisol Rodríguez, the exhibition offers a profound dialogue between the museum's history and the memory hidden in its collections. Through photographs, paintings, costumes and an audiovisual installation, Jackson reinterprets racial and colonial stereotypes, showing how they persist in the present.
