About this event
From 19 February to 31 May, Palacio de Liria de Madrid will host an exhibition by artist José María Sicilia, one of the leading representatives of Spanish art of the 1980s.
The project was conceived as a delicate dialogue with the palace space. The new works and the installation created especially for the occasion are integrated into the historic interiors, interacting with the architecture, light and memory of the place.
The exhibition brings together works from different years which, in the context of Liria, acquire a new meaning. The exhibition unfolds in the palace's most emblematic rooms, from the library to the ballroom, offering visitors a journey between past and present.
