On Saturdays, the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza opens its temporary exhibitions free of charge. The promotion is valid all year round and takes place at night, from 21:00 to 23:00, allowing visitors to visit the museum after sunset without having to buy a ticket.
The initiative was created to make contemporary art more accessible and attract a more diverse audience. For two hours, visitors can freely stroll through the exhibition rooms on the museum’s lower levels and discover the current projects, from classical painting to large-scale multimedia installations.
