Exhibition «Shaping the world: of clay and women»

The exhibition brings together three artists: Mamisi Walas (Mouleó Amebédé), Seyni Awa Camara and Reinata Sadimba. They have turned clay into an instrument of expression and resistance, creating unique symbolic worlds: Walas sculpts deities, Sadimba reflects the experience of war and motherhood, and Camara builds hybrid mythological creatures.

Heirs to a rich terracotta tradition, the artists have transcended the limits of classical art and gained recognition on international stages. The exhibition shows how clay has become for women a medium of spiritual and social expression, a language of power and freedom.
