Velázquez’s emblematic «Meninas» are given new life in the «Mexininas» exhibition, on display at Espacio Huakal as part of Madrid Design Festival. Seven Mexican artists have reinterpreted the image of Infanta Doña Margarita using wood, clay, tinplate and papier-mâché.
Admission is free, and the works can not only be viewed but also bought. Stop by Huakal until 28 February to find your most original «Menina».
