«Madrid, Muse of Letters» exhibition

Madrid is hosting the exhibition «Madrid, Musa de las Letras», dedicated to the city’s role in Spanish literature and its influence on famous writers.

The exhibition takes place at Espacio Letras in the Serrería Belga cultural centre, in the Barrio de las Letras, and offers a literary journey through the city’s history. Visitors will be able to discover six great «books» with quotations and reflections by authors such as Miguel de Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Benito Pérez Galdós, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Federico García Lorca and Ramón María del Valle-Inclán.

The exhibition combines historical documents, unique objects and interactive materials, showing how Madrid became a literary setting and why it continues to inspire new generations of writers.
