The exhibition “Madrid, destination of dreams: Bigas Luna’s urban cinema”

“Madrid, destination of dreams: Bigas Luna’s urban cinema” was created with the aim of highlighting the values of cinema, its journey in Spanish cinema, the changes and current trends.

A great deal of work has gone into creating this exhibition. Today we can see interviews with directors and actors, such as Verónica Echegui, Laia Martí and Dani Martín, and contemplate the protagonists’ iconic costumes. You can feel as though you are on set thanks to objects from the film sets. The exhibition includes numerous photographs and pages from the original script.

You will also be able to see the first film made in Spain in 2006 that was shot in digital and analogue formats at the same time. It became something special because a new funding model was chosen, in which private brands became patrons. Its aesthetic, close to the world of music videos, generated separate interest.
