About this event
Alice in Wonderland has become an iconic tale that has kept more than one generation awake at night. It has inspired many artists and directors, including Tim Burton.
The exhibition «The Worlds of Alice. Dreaming Wonderland» invites us to explore the role of this character in culture and art. We will discover how the fairy tale has influenced fashion, theatre, cinema, photography and science, in a playful dimension. The exhibition will be divided into five sections: «The Invention of Alice», «Alice Through the Screen», «Gateway to Other Worlds», «Alice on Stage» and «Becoming Alice». It will be a kind of dialogue between our world and that of Alice in Wonderland.
